The Red Label’s 28-inch chrome-moly steel barrels are blued and topped with a vent rib and a brass bead front sight. Chambers are cut for 3-inch shells, offering flexibility across loads while retaining the quick handling of a 20 gauge.
The investment-cast stainless-steel receiver has a brushed finish and sculpted fences. Ruger’s easy-opening lockwork and automatic ejectors support smooth operation, while the ejectors are timed for consistent performance.
Controls are simple and effective: a single selective trigger, a tang safety with an integrated barrel selector, and an automatic safety. The gun uses Ruger’s 2-inch 20-gauge screw-in choke system and is set up with a Full choke in the top barrel and a Modified choke in the bottom barrel.
The walnut stock has a satin finish with a beavertail forend, pistol grip, and sharp checkering. A rubber recoil pad and Ruger medallion grip cap complete the furniture. The stock has a neutral cast and a neutral grip, and the length of pull measures 14.0 inches.
