Imported by Action Arms, Ltd. of Philadelphia during the 1980–1983 window, this Model A is a true pre-ban configuration and retains the correct importer markings. It is IMI–Israel manufacture, Made in Israel, with the desirable SA-prefix serial range tied to that early import period. A matching serialized instruction manual accompanies the carbine.
The receiver is stamped and welded steel with reinforcing ribs, paired with a top-mounted charging handle and a manual safety selector. The operating system is the civilian semi-automatic, closed-bolt, hammer-fired, straight blowback design that defines the Model A carbine. The magazine-in-grip layout preserves the familiar UZI handling characteristics.
The 16-inch quick-change barrel is retained by a knurled barrel nut, and the top-cover warning plate is present. Sights consist of a protected front post and a flip rear aperture with a 200 m leaf. Length of pull measures 15.5 inches. Capacity is 25+1, and one 25-round magazine is included.
Furniture is correct for the platform: a steel, side-folding, skeletonized stock; a black polymer pistol grip; and a ribbed black polymer fore-end. The carbine shows the ACTION ARMS, LTD Phila., Pa. import mark and comes with the original Action Arms UZI-branded soft case and an installed web sling—rounding out a complete, period-correct package from the early 1980s.
