The glass-filled nylon frame houses a serialized one-piece aluminum chassis with full-length rails, and it includes one 15-round magazine. Made in the USA.

The Security-9 is built around Ruger’s Secure Action, an internal hammer-fired system with a single-action-style, pre-cocked design for a short, crisp trigger pull. It includes both a manual thumb safety and a trigger safety, and it will fire with the magazine removed (no magazine disconnect).
The frame is glass-filled nylon (polymer) over a serialized one-piece aluminum chassis with full-length rails. The serial number is visible through a right-side window. An integrated accessory rail provides space for compatible add-ons, and the frame features integral grip texturing with a molded Ruger logo for a secure hold.
The slide wears a blued finish and is cut with front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. The 4 in barrel is made from through-hardened alloy steel for durability.
Sights include a fixed white-dot front and a drift-adjustable rear with a white U-outline for a clear, simple sight picture. Security-9 magazines are compatible with the Ruger PC Carbine when equipped with the appropriate mag-well insert.
