    What’s Included

    • Marlin Model 336C .30-30 lever-action rifle

The Model 336C is a carbine-length version of Marlin's famed 336 series, combining a 20-inch round barrel with a solid-top, side-eject steel receiver. This receiver is drilled and tapped at the factory and currently fitted with filler screws, offering flexibility for sighting options while keeping the rifle clean and traditional in appearance.

Mechanically, it is a lever-action design with an exposed hammer and a half-cock hammer safety. It is the pre–cross-bolt safety configuration associated with mid-1970s production. Feeding is through a right-side loading gate into a full-length tubular magazine with a 6+1 capacity, and ejection is to the right side.

The barrel uses Marlin's Micro-Groove rifling, a signature feature of the era. Iron sights include a ramp-based front blade and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear with a stepped elevator, providing a straightforward, field-ready sight picture.

The stock is classic Marlin: a checkered pistol-grip wood stock with a black grip cap and white-line spacer, matching fore-end, and a Marlin-branded checkered buttplate. Additional period details include dual barrel bands, the Marlin "bullseye" white inlay in the stock, and a gold-colored trigger.

Finished in blued steel and built in 1975, this 336C reflects the 1970s era of Marlin production. Length of pull is 13.5 inches, providing a comfortable, carbine-friendly fit.
