This pre-Series 70 Gold Cup National Match is built on a blued carbon steel frame and slide with high-polish flats and matte rounds. It uses the NM-suffix serial format associated with these models and retains the classic 1911 controls in a full-size, 5-inch configuration with a 7+1 capacity.
The National Match barrel is marked on the hood with "COLT .45 AUTO. N.M." The slide is flat-topped with a matte rib and longitudinal serrations, vertical rear cocking serrations, and a standard ejection port profile. Target sights include a Colt-Elliason micrometer-adjustable rear (marked "ELLIASON") paired with a square Patridge front blade.
The wide, grooved target trigger incorporates lightening cuts and an adjustable overtravel stop for precise control. Additional features include a wide serrated spur hammer, an arched mainspring housing, a checkered recoil spring plug, a thumb safety, and a grip safety.
Checkered walnut grip panels with gold Colt medallions complement the traditional blued finish. The included steel magazine is marked "45 ACP" and has witness holes.
