The heart of this Model 1 is its 14.5 inch match-grade 416R stainless steel barrel, pinned and welded to a legal 16 inch overall length. It is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with a two-prong flash hider, and uses a 1:8 twist for versatile .223 Wylde performance. A mid-length gas system and direct impingement action complete a balanced, smooth-running setup.
The rifle uses Radian's A-DAC ambidextrous lower with mirrored magazine release and a right-side bolt release, plus an ambidextrous safety selector. The Magpul MOE-K2 pistol grip provides a modern, near-vertical angle, and the capacity is 30+1 with the included PMAG.
Up top, the upper receiver mates to a free-float aluminum handguard featuring M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock and an anti-rotation interface. A full-length top Picatinny rail allows continuous mounting space. The Radian Raptor-SD charging handle is ambidextrous and ported.
The carbine ships with a Magpul MOE Carbine stock on a mil-spec receiver extension, offering a collapsible setup. The receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum with a grey finish and are marked "Radian — Salem, OR" and "Model 1 — Multi Cal."
