The M1911-A1 FS Tactical II is a full-size, single-action .45 ACP built on the proven 1911 platform. It uses a 5-inch barrel with a GI-style barrel-bushing recoil system and a non-railed Government-pattern dust cover. Capacity is 8+1 using standard single-stack magazines.
Its feature set is oriented toward control and shootability. The pistol includes an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a memory pad. A lightened 3-hole trigger with overtravel adjustment and a skeletonized commander-style hammer round out the fire-control upgrades.
Sight configuration is practical and easy to tune: a dovetailed orange fiber-optic front sight pairs with a fully adjustable rear sight featuring two white dots. Both sights are dovetailed into a matte dark gray/black slide that has rear vertical cocking serrations only.
The matte dark gray/black frame wears gray/black textured G10-type composite grips. It features a flat, checkered mainspring housing, a smooth front strap, and an extended magazine-well funnel. Markings include the Rock Island Armory crest on the slide and importer/origin marks "APINTL – PAHRUMP NV – PHILIPPINES." Country of origin is the Philippines.
