The 18-inch barrel is chrome-moly-vanadium steel, cold hammer forged, and chrome lined with the Daniel Defense S2W profile for longevity. It is threaded 1/2-28 and fitted with the Daniel Defense Muzzle Climb Mitigator Gen II, and the rifle-length gas system uses a low-profile gas block secured with set screws.
This model includes a factory Geissele SD-3G single-stage, flat-faced trigger, an ambidextrous safety selector, and the Daniel Defense GRIP-N-RIP ambidextrous charging handle. These controls provide fast, consistent operation from either shoulder.
The free-float Daniel Defense MFR 15.0 M-LOK handguard is 6061-T6 aluminum with a full-length T-marked top rail. The receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum, and the upper is marked "5.56" and "DDM4V7 PRO" as noted.
The factory Rattlecan camouflage Cerakote finish uses a unique stencil pattern across the rifle. An adjustable stock provides a 10–13.5 inch length of pull, and the textured polymer pistol grip supports a secure hold. Overall length is approximately 37.875 inches with an approximate weight of 7.4 pounds.
