Originally designed by Korth for a special European police unit focused on organized crime investigations, the Sky Marshal represents a purpose-built 9mm revolver solution. After a European production overrun, remaining units were imported to the U.S. by Nighthawk Custom, making this compact revolver a scarce and well-documented piece with clear provenance.
The Sky Marshal is a true 9x19mm design. Its six-round steel cylinder employs a proprietary extractor system that does not require moon clips, simplifying loading and ejection while keeping the package compact with a 2-inch steel barrel. This example is individually numbered 61 of 77 within the limited run.
The aluminum alloy frame keeps weight down while maintaining durability, and it wears a matte black/gray finish. Ergonomics are anchored by a Hogue rubber finger-groove Monogrip. Sighting is straightforward and rugged, with a replaceable front blade featuring a dot insert and a fixed rear notch integral to the topstrap, complemented by a serrated top rib. It has a forward-mounted cylinder-release lever and a distinctive side plate that partially shrouds the skeletonized hammer spur. There is no accessory rail.
Korth's roller-bearing DA/SA trigger mechanism is a defining feature, offering the brand's characteristic precision. Markings include Korth Germany and Nighthawk Custom Berryville, AR USA import stamps. Included paperwork consists of a Nighthawk COA identifying the model as Sky Marshal and numbered 61 of 77, plus a Nighthawk test/target card dated 06-05-2019 that is handwritten "Sky Hawk," reflecting internal nomenclature used at the time of import.
