This Belgian-made FN SCAR 16S NRCH is a registered 10-inch SBR finished in factory FDE and configured with a strong set of premium upgrades. Notable enhancements include a Rego Systems SMR-9 extended M-LOK handguard, Geissele trigger, PMM control upgrades, a Forward Controls Design 3P15 flash hider, and a KNS Precision DiSCARder adjustable gas regulator. This SCAR 16S is set up as a short-barreled rifle and is regulated under the NFA. It uses the NRCH system with ambidextrous, non-reciprocating side charging handles, and retains the SCAR’s short-stroke gas piston, rotating bolt action. The monolithic aluminum upper includes a full-length MIL-STD-1913 top rail with index marks, and the rifle carries factory FDE finish across the upper, lower, and stock.
The rifle is upgraded with a Rego Systems SMR-9 extended free-float M-LOK handguard for expanded accessory mounting space. Gas tuning is handled by the KNS Precision DiSCARder adjustable gas regulator at the gas block. A Forward Controls Design 3P15 three-prong flash hider is fitted to the threaded 10-inch barrel.
Control enhancements include a Parker Mountain Machine Battery Control Device on the bolt catch and a Parker Mountain Machine oversized magazine release. A Geissele trigger is installed for a refined fire-control feel. Ergonomics are rounded out with a Driven Arms SCG FDE pistol grip and a Lingle low-profile butt pad on the polymer folding, telescoping stock; length-of-pull positions are noted at approximately 12 in and 14.5 in.
Sighting equipment consists of folding iron sights, with a flip-up front sight integrated into the gas block and a flip-up rear diopter sight featuring a numbered drum. The rifle accepts STANAG-pattern magazines and includes one 30-round PMAG. Markings include the FN oval logo, "FN HERSTAL BELGIUM," and "FNH USA FREDERICKSBURG VA," with additional non-decorative trust engraving "HUANG TRUST LOUISVILLE, KY."
