Purpose-built as a carry-size member of the Shadow 2 series, this pistol pairs a compact footprint (approx. 7.5 in L x 5.4 in H x 1.5 in W) with a substantial 15+1 capacity. The forged 7075-T6 aluminum frame keeps weight to about 30.7 oz while retaining the slide-in-frame CZ-75 architecture that defines the platform.
The slide is cut for direct-mount Shield RMSc-footprint optics and includes a cover plate when no optic is installed. Fixed 3-dot luminous iron sights provide a bright front dot and a two-dot rear, and they are set to co-witness with the RMSc interface. Front and rear cocking serrations and a ribbed slide top aid manipulation and glare reduction.
The 4.0 in cold hammer-forged barrel and DA/SA system are matched with a smooth-faced, curved trigger and a skeletonized ring hammer. Safety and control features include ambidextrous decocker controls and a firing pin block.
Frame and controls are complemented by aggressively textured metal grip panels with CZ SHADOW 2 logos and a three-slot Picatinny accessory rail for lights or lasers. Markings include a CZ-USA, Kansas City, KS import mark and a Czech proof mark near the ejection port with a triangular symbol containing '25'.
