    What's Included

    • Wooden presentation/display case
    • Embossed powder flask with brass spout
    • L-shaped nipple wrench

This reproduction 1860 Army retains the classic lines and mechanisms of the original Colt-pattern revolver. It features an open-top frame, a wedge-retained barrel assembly, and a pivoting loading lever with a barrel-tip latch and rammer. The 8-inch round barrel integrates an under-barrel web for the loading lever, keeping the profile true to period form.

The six-shot steel cylinder is roll-engraved with a naval battle scene and includes a PATENT No panel. Cylinder safety pins between chambers are present, offering a traditional safe-carry provision consistent with the pattern. Sighting is by a brass front blade and a rear notch in the hammer.

Construction is all-steel for the barrel, frame, cylinder, and backstrap, paired with a brass trigger guard and one-piece wood grips. Action is single-action, and capacity is 6 rounds of .44 caliber black powder. Markings include the FAP logo, 'F.LLI PIETTA - MADE IN ITALY,' and 'BLACK POWDER ONLY 44 Cal.'

Italian proof marks, including PN, are present, confirming proof and origin. Matching serial numbers are noted on major components, consistent with factory assembly. The revolver is a modern reproduction manufactured by F.lli Pietta in 2000.
