What’s Included
- Colt Trooper .357 Pre-Mark III revolver
This Trooper .357 represents the first-series pre-Mark III design on Colt's medium E/I frame. It uses the traditional V-spring lockwork with a hammer-mounted firing pin, a hallmark of earlier Colt double-action revolvers. The revolver was made in 1965 in the United States and is chambered for .357 Magnum.
The 4-inch steel barrel is rollmarked "TROOPER .357" and ".357 MAGNUM CTG." It carries a ramped plain blade front sight on an integral base and an adjustable square-notch rear sight, giving the shooter a clear, tunable sight picture.
Construction is all steel with a polished blued finish. The six-shot fluted cylinder pairs with an unshrouded ejector rod that runs in a milled relief channel under the barrel. The action is double-action/single-action, and the revolver has an exposed hammer with a checkered spur.
The checkered walnut service stocks include silver Colt medallions, and the left side of the frame bears the Colt rampant horse logo. Capacity is six rounds of .357 Magnum.
