The 18-inch stainless steel barrel uses a heavy contour and is free-floated for consistent barrel harmonics. It is threaded at the muzzle and comes fitted with a multi-port brake to help manage recoil. Savage's barrel nut system is present for precise headspacing, and the action runs a right-hand, two-lug bolt with an oversize knurled knob for confident manipulation.
The rifle is housed in a precision aluminum chassis finished in olive/OD green. The stock folds for compact transport and features an adjustable cheekpiece and length of pull, plus a skeletonized design to reduce weight without sacrificing rigidity. Controls include a tang safety and an AccuTrigger with a central safety blade, and the trigger is user-adjustable to fine-tune pull weight.
Up front, the aluminum forend offers M-LOK slots and an underside Picatinny rail section installed for rapid, secure bipod or accessory mounting. A 20-MOA Picatinny scope base is installed to maximize optic elevation range, and two-piece scope rings are included to streamline setup.
The detachable box magazine system is AICS-pattern with a stated 10+1 capacity, and two polymer 10-round magazines are included. The rifle wears a matte stainless barrel finish with a matte receiver, and it is made in the USA. Compatible with bipods via the included rail (bipod not included).
