Ruger P85 Mark II 9mm Luger, 4.5" Stainless Barrel, DA/SA, Two-Tone, 1991, 15+1, 2 Magazines, Original Case
This 1991 Ruger P85 Mark II is a full-size, DA/SA 9mm with the factory-revised safety/decocker that distinguished the Mark II from early P85 variants. It comes in a durable two-tone finish with an aluminum-alloy frame and blued slide, includes two 15-round steel magazines, and retains its original case and owner's manual. A short-run transitional update bridging the P85 to the P89, the Mark II offers robust construction, a conventional closed-top slide with standard ejection port, and an integral lanyard loop.

The P85 Mark II incorporates Ruger's revised slide-mounted safety/decocker system and a firing-pin block, providing a reliable DA/SA operating setup with an external spur hammer. This update was part of a short transitional run circa 1990–1992 and was not subject to the early P85 recall, making it a distinct variant within the P-series lineage.
Construction is rugged and purpose-built: an investment-cast blued slide with brushed flats paired to a hard-coat anodized dark gray aluminum-alloy frame. The 4.5" stainless steel barrel and closed-top slide with standard ejection port contribute to dependable cycling and durability.
Ergonomics and controls include a left-side push-button magazine release, ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker, and black grooved polymer grips with Ruger medallions. An integral lanyard loop is built into the frame for secure retention when needed.
Sights are fixed 3-dot, with a white-dot front and a two-dot, drift-adjustable rear in a dovetail. Capacity is 15+1 in 9mm Luger, and this example includes two standard-capacity steel magazines. Country of origin is the United States.
