Built on a stamped AKM-pattern receiver with a ribbed top cover, this Sporter retains the classic layout while using a separate gas block and a skeletonized front sight base. The receiver is stamped steel and follows the standard rivet pattern associated with AKM designs.
The 16.25 inch steel barrel is threaded and paired with a long-stroke gas piston system and rotating bolt. This setup delivers the expected AKM operating characteristics in the 7.62x39 chambering with a 30+1 capacity.
Furniture includes a Phoenix Technology fixed polymer buttstock marked Made in USA, a black polymer lower handguard with horizontal ribs, and a black polymer finger-groove pistol grip. The stock has a right-side sling loop, and the length of pull measures 12.5 inches.
Sights consist of a front post set in a skeletonized sight block and an adjustable tangent rear sight graduated 1–10. Controls are standard AKM with a manual safety/selector lever. This receiver does not have a receiver-side optics rail.
Import and proof markings are clear and informative: Pioneer Arms Corp South Daytona, FL import mark, a JRA Burgaw, NC mark, and a POLAND oval crest on the rear sight block, underscoring its Polish origin.
