The Gen 6 G17 retains the proven full-size 9mm format with a 4.49 in barrel and 17+1 capacity. The slide wears a durable black nDLC finish and includes both front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation.
Accuracy and consistency are supported by the Glock Marksman Barrel. Glock's Safe Action trigger system provides a familiar, consistent trigger experience.
The slide is optic-ready with a cover plate installed, and the pistol comes with optic adapter plates. Sights are night-sight units for improved low-light visibility.
Ergonomics include a polymer frame with aggressive micro-dot texture, interchangeable backstraps, a slight flared magwell, and an undercut trigger guard. The pistol is currently configured without a beavertail backstrap; optional beavertail backstraps are included.
This pistol bears Austrian C.I.P. proof marks with the AT country code on the barrel and the "MADE IN AUSTRIA • GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA" import mark. An accessory rail on the dustcover accepts Glock-pattern weapon lights or accessories.
