Chambered in .300 AAC Blackout (7.62x35mm), this pistol uses a direct impingement, rotating bolt system on the AR-15 platform and accepts standard AR-15 pattern magazines. Capacity is 30+1 with the included magazine.
The 10 inch stainless steel barrel is threaded and fitted with a multi-port/pronged muzzle device. The free-float aluminum handguard provides a full-length 12 o'clock Picatinny rail with accessory slots for mounting lights or other add-ons.
The billet-style receiver set shows angular relief cuts, and the receivers and handguard wear a matching green finish. The ejection port cover is marked "The Derive" and "300 Blackout," providing clear chambering identification.
Controls and ergonomics include an ambidextrous safety selector, an ambidextrous Kulas-branded charging handle, and an extended/oversize bolt catch. The pistol uses a brace with a QD sling socket and Velcro strap, paired with a Hogue rubber overmolded finger-groove grip for a secure hold.
