This Kimber Ultra Covert II from the Custom Shop is a subcompact Officer-size 1911 in .45 ACP with premium carry-focused features. It pairs a matte black steel slide with a KimPro II Desert Tan aluminum frame, and adds a 3-inch match-grade ramped bull barrel, Meprolight Tactical Wedge tritium night sights, and factory Crimson Trace Lasergrips in digital desert camouflage. The Carry Melt de-horning, 30 LPI front-strap checkering, and left side only controls round out a well-executed, USA-made carry package marked Yonkers NY.

Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.

Built in Kimber's Custom Shop and roll-marked accordingly, the Ultra Covert II blends carry-optimized ergonomics with match-grade components. The 3-inch bushingless, ramped bull barrel runs a full-length guide rod for consistent lockup, and the slide features rear serrations only with a clean, carry-focused profile.
The frame is machined aluminum finished in KimPro II Desert Tan for durability and reduced weight, paired with a matte black steel slide for a purposeful two-tone look. Kimber's Carry Melt treatment rounds and smooths the edges for easier concealment and holstering.
Controls and interfaces are tuned for confident handling: 30 LPI front-strap checkering and a checkered mainspring housing provide secure purchase, while the left side only thumb safety and beavertail grip safety offer familiar 1911 operation. A skeletonized, match-grade 3-hole trigger and skeletonized hammer complete the setup.
Factory-installed Meprolight Tactical Wedge fixed night sights deliver a bright 3-dot tritium picture. The Kimber-marked Crimson Trace Lasergrips in digital desert camouflage add an integrated aiming laser and a distinct visual signature. The pistol is marked YONKERS NY, USA and built on the proven 1911 platform in a subcompact Officer-size configuration.
