Built on the AR-15 platform, this DDM4 M4A1 is chambered in 5.56mm NATO and uses a gas-operated, direct impingement system with a carbine-length gas setup. The 16.2-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2-style flash suppressor.
The rifle is equipped with the Daniel Defense M4A1 RIS II free-float quad rail. This 12.25-inch handguard is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and uses Daniel Defense’s 6-bolt Bolt-Up attachment. It provides a continuous, T-marked MIL-STD-1913 top rail with a "FRONT SIGHT HERE" cue. Factory rail markings include U.S. Pat.

Controls and markings are classic Daniel Defense: the selector is SAFE/SEMI, the upper receiver is marked M4A1 with the "5.56" caliber oval forward of the ejection port, and the ejection-port cover is unmarked. The lower receiver is marked "DANIEL DEFENSE BLACK CREEK GA USA MODEL DDM4 CAL MULTI." It accepts standard AR-15 pattern magazines.
The rifle wears matching Daniel Defense furniture, including a telescoping polymer stock with a rubber buttpad and a textured polymer pistol grip. The hard-anodized aluminum receivers and black finish tie together a cohesive, duty-grade package.
