The M9A3 configuration combines a full-size aluminum alloy frame and an open-top slide, both finished in flat dark earth. The DA/SA, short-recoil, locked-breech system pairs with an ambidextrous slide-mounted safety/decocker that can be converted to decocker-only, and a red fire indicator for clear status at a glance.
The 5.1-inch barrel is extended and factory threaded 1/2x28 with a knurled thread protector and an O-ring at the shoulder. The barrel is marked "PB – 9x19." An MIL-STD-1913 three-slot accessory rail on the dustcover supports compatible lights or other rail-mounted accessories.
Night capability comes from tritium 3-dot sights with a dovetailed front and a windage-adjustable, square-notch rear. The sight radius measures 6.30 inches. Rear grasping serrations on the slide aid manipulation, and the spurred hammer and oversize magazine release offer purposeful control features.
Markings include the Beretta PB logo on the slide, CIP proof marks, the Gardone proof-house crest, and the BERETTA USA CORP ACKK MD import mark. The slide also carries the additional "JT19" marking. The frame, slide, and barrel all bear matching serial numbers.
Textured tan polymer grip panels provide traction, and the full-size frame houses a 17+1 capacity in 9mm Luger. The build and markings reflect Italian manufacture with U.S. importation by Beretta USA.
