The BPS platform uses a bottom-loading and bottom-ejecting action, providing true ambidextrous operation. A top-tang sliding safety further supports right- or left-handed use without altering the manual of arms.
The 20 inch field-marked plain barrel carries a fixed Cylinder Bore and a single front bead for a clean, straightforward sight picture. The barrel is marked BPS SPECIAL STEEL.
The steel receiver and barrel wear a matte black/gray finish. The shotgun includes a gold-colored trigger and a knurled magazine cap, with a standard-length magazine tube for a 4+1 capacity.
The synthetic stock has molded checkering for secure handling, a rubber recoil pad, and sling swivel studs. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches.
