It carries German proof marks with the Ulm stag antler, CIP N, "DE," and the two-letter "BH" date code, with HKI - Columbus GA import marking. This USP Elite is the XL-size long-slide configuration with an extended slide and long muzzle overhang. The 6.02 in precision barrel is cold hammer forged with polygonal rifling, and the heat-resistant O-ring at the muzzle supports consistent lockup. A 7.48 in sight radius pairs with a fully adjustable micrometer rear sight and a tall plain front blade for precise, user-tunable elevation and windage.
The pistol uses HK's USP recoil-reduction system and a DA/SA, short-recoil, hammer-fired action. Controls include an ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release, a manual safety, and a decocker. A match trigger with an adjustable over-travel stop provides a refined break suited to target work.
The slide wears HK's HE nitrocarburized finish, and the polymer frame retains the USP-pattern grip with the molded 'USP' logo. The dust cover features proprietary USP accessory grooves. The overall configuration delivers the Elite's hallmark balance and tracking for deliberate, accuracy-focused shooting.
