The Springfield Armory Echelon 4.5 U-Dot pairs a duty-length 4.5 inch hammer-forged steel barrel with the U-Dot iron sight system and the Variable Interface System (VIS) optic-cut slide. This example includes both 20- and 17-round steel double-stack magazines and ships with VIS mounting pins. It features the Modular Central Operating Group (COG) serialized chassis, fully ambidextrous controls, and clear import markings from Croatia and Springfield Armory.

This full-size 9mm Luger Echelon variant uses a striker-fired action and a 4.5 inch hammer-forged steel barrel. Capacity is 20+1 with the included extended magazine, and 17+1 with the flush-profile magazine. The included steel double-stack magazines provide a mix of flush-profile and extended baseplates for carry or duty use.
The pistol is built around Springfield's Modular Central Operating Group (COG), a serialized chassis that houses the fire control unit. The polymer grip frame features wraparound micro-texture, and interchangeable backstraps are included to fine-tune hand fit.
The slide is cut for optics and uses the Variable Interface System (VIS) for direct-mount solutions when used with the included pins. U-Dot iron sights combine a high-visibility front dot with a U-notch rear. The slide adds front, rear, and top serrations, an external extractor, and a robust ejection port.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the slide stop and magazine release. A 4-slot Picatinny dust-cover rail supports common weapon lights or accessories. Safety is managed by a trigger safety. Markings include MADE IN CROATIA, SI Geneseo, IL, and the Springfield Armory crossed-cannons crest. This is a recent release with manufacturer part number EC9459B-U.
