The G17 Gen4 format delivers a 4.49 in steel barrel with polygonal rifling, a 17+1 capacity, and a full-size polymer frame. The fixed Glock sights use a white-dot front and white-outline U-notch rear, paired with a 6.50 in sight radius for a clear sight picture.
Gen4-specific updates include the dual recoil spring assembly for the slide and the Modular Backstrap System capability; this pistol is configured with no additional backstrap installed. The frame has the Gen4 Rough Textured Frame with finger grooves and an enlarged, reversible magazine release.
The slide features rear serrations, a standard ejection port, and no optic cut. The dust cover integrates the Glock accessory rail. The barrel and slide are steel with Glock's corrosion-resistant surface treatment.
