The EP9 uses a simple blowback, semi-automatic action and feeds from Glock-pattern magazines. Controls are familiar to AR users, with a left-side bolt catch and a right-side magazine release. A left-side forward charging handle streamlines manipulation while keeping the shooting hand on the grip.
The 6.5-inch barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and comes fitted with a factory forward blast director. The barrel, bolt, and ejector are treated with black nitride for corrosion resistance and ease of maintenance. Capacity is listed at 27+1 with the included 27-round magazine.
Furniture includes a polymer cylindrical handguard with M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock and a textured polymer pistol grip. Up top, a full-length 1913 Picatinny rail spans the receiver, and a short 12 o'clock section on the fore-end provides additional mounting space. No iron sights are installed.
An adjustable SB Tactical pistol stabilizing brace with a QD sling socket and stabilizing strap completes the setup. The EP9 maintains a compact footprint at approximately 24.5 inches overall length (brace collapsed) and an approximate weight of 4.09 lb. The pistol presents a clean black finish with right-side ejection.
