The SIG716 Patrol is a US-made, short-stroke piston AR-10 rifle chambered in 7.62 NATO with a 16 in barrel, adjustable gas regulator, and a free-floating alloy quad rail. It features FDE furniture, a continuous T-marked Picatinny top rail, and comes with installed flip-up sights, rail cover panels, and the original case. Factory literature notes compatibility with .308 Winchester.

This SIG716 Patrol runs a semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston system with an adjustable gas regulator on a railed gas block. The setup supports reliable function across different conditions and ammunition types while maintaining a familiar AR-10 manual of arms.
The 16 in barrel is threaded 5/8x24 and fitted with an A2-style flash suppressor. It is free-floated under an alloy quad-rail handguard, providing stable accessory mounting and consistent barrel harmonics.
A continuous, T-marked Picatinny top rail (T4–T18) bridges the receiver to the handguard. The rifle includes flip-up iron sights, with the front mounted on the railed gas block and the rear on the receiver rail. Polymer rail cover panels are installed for secure handling.
The rifle is outfitted with FDE furniture, including a collapsible stock and a Magpul pistol grip. Length of pull is 12.75 in, offering a compact, controllable configuration well-suited to a 16 in 7.62 NATO carbine.
Chambered for 7.62x51 NATO with factory literature noting compatibility with .308 Winchester, the rifle uses a detachable box magazine with a stated 20+1 capacity. Markings include "SIG SAUER / SIG716 7.62 NATO" on the lower and "SIG SAUER INC, EXETER, NH, USA" on the right receiver. One 20-round Magpul PMAG LR/SR magazine is included.
