Browning Cynergy Field 20 Gauge Over/Under, 28 inch, Invector-Plus, Satin Silver Receiver with Gold Inlays (Miroku Japan, 2009)
This Miroku-made Browning Cynergy Field in 20 gauge combines the line’s low-profile receiver and MonoLock Hinge with elegant factory gold-inlay accents. It features 28 inch Special Steel barrels chambered for 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells, a ventilated rib with single front bead, and a single gold-colored trigger with mechanical Reverse Striker ignition and automatic ejectors. Modified and Improved Cylinder chokes are installed, and the gun includes additional Invector-Plus tubes.

The Cynergy’s low-profile receiver and MonoLock Hinge deliver the compact handling and tight lockup the platform is known for. The Reverse Striker mechanical ignition system supports consistent trigger performance with its single gold-colored trigger, and the automatic ejectors provide fast, positive ejection. Inspection notes confirm the ejectors are timed, the barrel fit is good, the firing pins are good, and the top lever shows ample life remaining in the locking lugs.
The 28 inch Special Steel barrels are vent-ribbed with a single front bead and are chambered for both 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells. This shotgun is Invector-Plus compatible. Modified and Improved Cylinder chokes are installed, and two additional Invector-Plus tubes (PLUS MOD and PLUS FULL) are included.
Aesthetics and ergonomics are classic Field trim: a satin silver receiver with factory gold-inlay game-bird and Browning Buckmark motifs, blued barrels, and walnut furniture with a pistol grip, checkering, and a beavertail forend. Browning’s Inflex recoil pad and a neutral grip contribute to comfortable shouldering, with a 14.0 inch length of pull.
