The Affinity 3 uses an inertia-driven action with a rotating bolt head, combining 20 gauge versatility with reliable cycling. It features a 26 inch barrel and a 3 inch chamber, accommodating both 2.75 inch and 3 inch shells, with a 3+1 capacity. A cross-bolt safety and an oversized charging handle provide straightforward, glove-friendly controls.
The barrel is set up with a vent rib and a red fiber-optic front bead for fast sight acquisition. A Modified choke is installed in the barrel, and two additional flush screw-in chokes are included: Improved Cylinder (steel-shot OK) and Full (no steel shot). This gives immediate flexibility for field and target applications.
The black synthetic stock and forend include textured grip panels for consistent handling. Franchi's TSA recoil pad and the adjustable shim system help tailor the gun to the shooter. Length of pull is 14.0 inches.
The matte black finish on the receiver and barrel pairs cleanly with the synthetic furniture. Markings include Italian proof marks, "MADE IN ITALY," and the Benelli U.S.A. import mark. The receiver is marked "AFFINITY 3" with an adjacent "IT22" marking.
