The Axis action is a straightforward, reliable bolt design chambered in .30-06, feeding from a detachable 4-round box magazine for a total capacity of 4+1. A tang-mounted, two-position sliding safety with a red fire indicator provides intuitive operation. This rifle is made in the USA.
The 22-inch carbon steel barrel has a sporter profile with a matte blued finish and an unthreaded muzzle. The receiver is drilled and tapped and fitted with two-piece cross-slot bases. The rifle is configured without iron sights.
The laminated hardwood stock includes a Monte Carlo cheekpiece for head alignment, QD sling swivel studs, and a LimbSaver recoil pad. Length of pull measures 13.75 inches. A padded camo sling with quick-detach swivels is already installed.
