The Custom Stainless II pairs a stainless steel frame and slide with a matte/satin stainless finish for durability and clean lines. Its 5" bushing-type barrel maintains the traditional full-size 1911 profile and balance. Checkered hardwood grip panels with Kimber script provide a secure, classic feel, while the skeletonized Commander-style hammer and three-hole trigger add familiar 1911 ergonomics.
The slide is cut with front and rear angled serrations for confident manipulation. A lowered and flared ejection port supports reliable extraction and ejection. The overall setup is straightforward and purpose-built.
Sights consist of a fiber-optic front blade with an orange/red insert and a plain black fixed rear notch in a dovetail. The combination offers a bright front reference with a clean, uncluttered rear picture.
This 1911 runs a semi-automatic, single-action-only, short-recoil system with a manual thumb safety, grip safety, and a firing-pin block consistent with the Stainless II series. Chambered in 9mm Luger, it carries 9+1 rounds, and includes one 9-round single-stack magazine.
