Made in Russia and imported by FIME Group (Las Vegas, NV), this Vepr-12 retains the core RPK-derived strength with its stamped steel receiver and reinforced, bulged front trunnion. It uses a long-stroke gas-piston system with a rotating bolt for reliable cycling, and includes a factory magazine well for streamlined reloads. A manual bolt-hold-open lever and paddle-style magazine release add familiar, AK-pattern ergonomics.
The 18.5 in smoothbore barrel is chambered for 3 in (12x76) shells and supports both 2-3/4 in and 3 in loads. Sights include a protected front post integrated with the gas block and a rear sight adjustable for windage and elevation. The hinged dust cover carries a full-length Picatinny rail designed to retain zero, providing a stable top mounting surface.
Furniture consists of a fixed hardwood thumbhole stock with cheekpiece, a ventilated rubber recoil pad, and a sling swivel, paired with ribbed polymer upper and lower handguards. Length of pull is 14.0 in. Controls include a right-side AK safety/selector with "S" and "F" legends.
