The TU-90 follows the proven Tokarev layout with a 4.6 inch barrel and a 7+1 capacity in 7.62x25mm. It operates via a short-recoil, locked-breech system with a single-action-only trigger and an external spur hammer.
Built on a full-size, blued steel frame and slide, the pistol includes rear vertical slide serrations for positive manipulation. It uses a TT-pattern barrel bushing and retains a fixed notch-and-blade sighting setup with a fixed front sight and a square-notch rear.
For import compliance, this TU-90 has a frame-mounted manual safety. The slide and frame carry clear markings including "MADE IN CHINA" and the importer stamp "V.A. CO RIDGEFIELD, N.J."
Ergonomics and handling are supported by two-piece black grooved synthetic grip panels (wraparound style) and a lanyard ring at the heel. The frame and slide share matching serial numbers, while the included magazine has a non-matching floorplate.
