The 1301 Tactical is a semi-automatic, gas-operated shotgun that uses Beretta's BLINK system with a rotating bolt. It is chambered for 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells and has a 5+1 capacity, offering versatility across commonly used 12-gauge loads. A cross-bolt safety provides straightforward control.
The 18.5-inch steel barrel features Beretta's Optima-Bore HP profile and is threaded for interchangeable OptimaChoke HP tubes. The bore diameter is 18.6 mm, and the barrel is designed for consistent performance with modern loads.
Sighting is handled by factory ghost-ring sights, including an adjustable rear and a protected front post. A receiver-top Picatinny rail comes installed for mounting compatible sights or accessories as needed.
