The frame is color case-hardened, paired with a blued barrel and cylinder for a classic two-tone appearance. A rounded brass trigger guard and brass backstrap complement the one-piece walnut grip, delivering the traditional Dragoon profile and handling.
Markings are true to form, including the barrel top flat stamped "ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW-YORK CITY." The cylinder carries the roll-engraved "Ranger & Indian" battle scene, a hallmark of the model. Sights are fixed, with a blade front and a hammer-notch rear.
Major components show matching serial numbers, reinforcing the gun’s cohesion as assembled. Built as a faithful reproduction in the 1970s–1980s era, this revolver reflects Colt’s effort to replicate the look and function of the original Third Model Dragoon.
