The MPX PCC operates via a short-stroke gas piston with a closed rotating bolt, a design noted for consistent cycling. The flat-faced single-stage trigger provides a clean, direct pull suited to fast-paced shooting.
The 16-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a factory three-port muzzle brake. This setup is ready for muzzle device changes while retaining the original brake installed by the manufacturer.
Furniture includes a telescoping, adjustable polymer stock marked "MOE SL-K" and a polymer pistol grip. Length of pull is 11.5, allowing a compact and adaptable fit.
The long, slim free-float M-LOK aluminum handguard is mostly smooth on top, with only a short Picatinny section at the muzzle end; the upper receiver has its own 1913 Picatinny rail, and they are not continuous.
The aluminum receivers wear a black hard-coat anodized finish. Receiver markings include "SIG SAUER INC NEWINGTON NH USA" and "SIG MPX MULTI-CAL." with the SIG logo. Country of origin is USA.
