The VP9SK is a striker-fired, short-recoil 9mm built for concealment and control. Its 3.39" cold-hammer-forged barrel uses polygonal rifling with a 1:9.8 RH twist, pairing durability with consistent performance. Capacity is 10+1 with the included magazines, one fitted with a finger-rest floorplate for enhanced purchase.
Ergonomics are a core strength: the frame is textured polymer with interchangeable backstrap and side panels to fine-tune fit. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the HK paddle-style magazine release and ambidextrous slide releases, supporting left- or right-handed operation.
The slide is finished in HK's Hostile Environment nitrocarburizing and features front and rear serrations plus HK charging supports for positive manipulation. A striker status indicator at the rear and a chamber witness/inspection port on the barrel hood provide quick visual checks. Fixed 3-dot green sights offer a clear sight picture.
Safety features include a trigger safety, firing pin block, disconnector, loaded chamber indicator, and drop-safe design tested to NATO/SAAMI standards. A molded MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail on the dustcover is rated for approximately 5.6 oz accessory mass, expanding practical setup options.
This example carries German proofs with BH date code (2017): stag-horn proof, CIP N, DE, along with the HKI Columbus GA import mark. The barrel, slide, and frame share matching serial numbers, adding confidence and completeness to the package.
