The 28-inch steel barrel is vent-ribbed with a front bead and a small mid-rib bead for a clear sight picture. It uses an interchangeable choke system, and this shotgun comes with a Modified choke installed. The barrel is rollmarked "Remington Arms Co., Ilion, NY" and "16 GA 2 3/4" for easy identification of chambering.
The receiver and barrel wear a gloss blued finish, complemented by a bright-finished bolt and a gold-colored trigger. The receiver is properly rollmarked "Remington 870" and "Wingmaster," confirming the model and series.
The walnut stock and fore-end feature cut checkering, a pistol-grip profile, and a Remington grip-cap medallion. A Remington-marked recoil pad and a 14.0-inch length of pull provide a comfortable fit. The tubular magazine includes a knurled magazine cap, and capacity is 4+1 with 2 3/4-inch shells.
