Matching serial numbers are present on the slide, barrel, and frame.

This G42 retains Glock’s Safe Action system in a compact, striker-fired, locked-breech platform built for discreet carry. The micro, single-stack frame keeps the profile slim while maintaining a 6+1 capacity in .380 ACP.
The sighting system is upgraded for fast acquisition: an AmeriGlo H3 tritium front night sight with a high-visibility orange outline works against a blacked-out, serrated rear notch to deliver a sharp front-focused sight picture in varied lighting.
The matte black slide uses rear cocking serrations only and an external extractor. The polymer frame features Gen4-style texture panels for secure purchase and a left-side slide stop lever. The frame is streamlined without an accessory rail, and standard Glock takedown tabs simplify maintenance.
Barrel and slide are USA-marked, with a pentagonal proof on the barrel and a "US" stamp on the chamber hood (visible through the ejection port). Matching serial numbers on the slide, barrel, and frame confirm component alignment as produced in Smyrna, GA.
