Built on the AR-15 platform and chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, the Mod. K-3 uses a semi-automatic, direct impingement system with a 16-inch barrel. The barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2-style flash hider and crush washer. It feeds from standard STANAG-pattern magazines and is rated at 30+1 capacity. Controls include a manual safety with SAFE/FIRE markings and a standard magazine release.
The upper includes a forward assist and an ejection-port dust cover. Up front, a low-profile gas block sits under a free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard that measures about 15 inches and provides a continuous 12 o’clock Picatinny rail. This top rail carries the included open reflex red dot sight and the flip-up backup iron sights.
Ergonomics are modern and practical, with a Magpul MOE carbine 6-position stock and a UTG rubberized finger-groove pistol grip.
