This Model 24F-12 uses a break-action over/under layout with the .223 Remington rifle barrel on top and the 12-gauge shotgun barrel below. It holds one round per barrel (capacity 2) and uses a single trigger with an exposed hammer. The hammer-mounted selector lets you choose the active barrel, and the action opens via a top-tang lever for straightforward loading and unloading.
The 24-inch barrel set provides versatility in the field. The 12-gauge barrel accepts interchangeable choke tubes and is chambered for both 2 3/4 in and 3 in shells. A flush-fit removable choke tube is installed. The rifle barrel’s bore and rifling are clean and sharp, supporting precise .223 Remington performance.
Factory iron sights include a ramped front sight and a folding rear leaf, providing a clear sight picture. The receiver is factory drilled and tapped, and this example has a Weaver-style multi-slot base installed for mounting an optic if desired. Sling swivel studs are fitted at the front and rear, and a black leather cobra-style sling is included.
The black synthetic (Rynite) stock and forend feature molded texture for a secure grip and a solid buttpad. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches. The matte-finished steel receiver, cross-bolt hammer-block safety, and robust over/under design deliver dependable handling in a compact, do-it-all package made in the United States.
