The Hyper-Comp system uses an island-style ported barrel and corresponding slide cuts to reduce muzzle rise. The result is a compact OZ9C configuration that manages recoil effectively while maintaining a short, approximately 4.0-inch barrel length finished in bronze.
Construction centers on ZEV’s internal steel receiver/chassis that carries the serial number and fits within a polymer grip module. The module features textured surfaces and a subtle flared magwell contour for confident handling and faster magazine seating.
The slide is black finished with front and rear serrations for positive manipulation, a top window to complement the ported barrel, and an optics cut with the cover plate installed. Iron sights include a blade front and a black notch rear.
Operation is striker-fired with a short-recoil system. The flat-faced trigger incorporates a safety blade, and an integrated trigger safety is standard. A 3-slot Picatinny-style dustcover rail supports common accessories. Capacity is 15+1, and two 15-round magazines are included. U.S.
