The Z-15 is part of IWI's Zion-15 series and uses a mid-length direct impingement system for balanced operation. The 16 in 4150 CMV barrel has a nitride finish, 1:8 twist, and is threaded, offering durability and compatibility with common 5.56 NATO loads and accessories.
Forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers with a hard-coat anodized finish anchor the build. The upper includes a forward assist, ejection-port dust cover, and case deflector, while the bolt carrier is marked with the IWI logo. The lower is marked CAL: MULTI.
The free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard provides accessory mounting along its length and integrates a full-length 12 o'clock Picatinny rail. Handguard windows are marked 5.56 NAT and CrMoV. No iron sights are included.
B5 Systems furniture includes an adjustable carbine stock with QD sling socket and a B5 polymer pistol grip. The rifle uses a STANAG magazine interface and a manual safety selector. Manufactured by IWI US in the United States, it ships with two 30-round windowed polymer magazines.
