This 1911 is built on a single-action-only platform with a 4.2" carry-length, bushing-style match-grade barrel and a standard recoil spring plug. The non-railed dustcover and Fastback rounded (bobtail) grip frame create a streamlined carry profile while retaining classic 1911 handling.
The frame features fine checkering on both the front strap and mainspring housing, plus a high undercut trigger guard to promote a consistent, high grip. Black checkered grip panels with SIG SAUER logos end flush with the Fastback frame; the magazine well is standard beveled without a funnel.
The Nitron black slide uses rear cocking serrations only and a lowered, flared ejection port. Sighted with SIGLITE night sights in a low-profile 3-dot configuration, the front sight is dovetailed and the rear sight is a low-mount unit secured with a setscrew.
Controls and fire-control parts follow the "Nightmare" theme with contrasting natural-stainless finishes. It includes an ambidextrous thumb safety and an extended beavertail grip safety with memory pad, a skeletonized commander-style hammer, and a long skeletonized trigger with an overtravel screw. Capacity is 8+1 in .45 ACP, and this example includes two 8-round stainless magazines. Manufactured in Newington, New Hampshire, USA; case label shows SKU/mfg part number 1911FCA-45-NMR with a date of 12 Apr 2018.
