The PPQ M2 long-slide configuration features a 5-inch barrel and factory lightening windows in the slide, paired with front and rear serrations. The slide and barrel are Tenifer-treated steel with a black finish, and the full-size polymer frame carries the molded PPQ texture.
Controls include ambidextrous extended slide stop levers and a reversible button-style magazine release. The Quick Defense trigger has a short reset, and the striker-fired, short-recoil system uses a Browning-type tilting barrel. A trigger safety is incorporated.
Sighting equipment consists of a front sight and a polymer rear that is drift and elevation adjustable. A three-slot Picatinny accessory rail is integrated into the dustcover.
Markings include C.I.P. nitro proof (eagle over N), the Ulm antler proof, DE country code, and a Walther Arms Fort Smith, AR import mark. A BH date code is present. The factory case label matches the pistol, and a factory test target is included.
