Built on a forged steel frame and slide, this full-size PT 1911 AR is chambered in .38 Super and finished in blued/black. The 5-inch barrel and single-action 1911 platform deliver the classic configuration many shooters prefer in this caliber.
Controls and safety features include an ambidextrous thumb safety, an extended beavertail grip safety with memory pad, and a firing pin block. A skeletonized commander-style hammer and a long, three-hole skeletonized trigger round out the performance-focused fire-control setup.
The slide is cut with front and rear cocking serrations and a lowered/flared ejection port. Sight regulation is handled by a dovetailed front sight paired with an adjustable target-style rear sight for precise zeroing.
Factory "Golden Trim" gold-tone small parts add a distinct look to this variant. The pistol wears double-diamond checkered hardwood grip panels, and the sale also includes Taurus factory checkered black grip panels not installed.
