This Model 11 uses Remington’s U.S.-made, Browning-derived long-recoil action and the recognizable hump-back receiver with side ejection. It is a takedown design, allowing the barrel and receiver to be separated for transport and maintenance.
The 26 inch plain, non-vent-rib barrel is marked "16 GA. FOR 2 3/4 OR SHORTER SHELLS" and wears a single front bead for a clean sight picture. Capacity is 4+1.
As an A (Standard) Grade, it is outfitted with American walnut furniture, including a checkered pistol-grip stock and matching walnut forend, plus a hard-rubber Remington buttplate with logo. The bolt is roll-marked "MODEL 11."
Factory engraving features classic American game scenes: a pheasant in grass on the right side and a duck over water on the left. These period-correct motifs complement the shotgun’s 1931–1940 production era and overall presentation.
