The MVP Patrol accepts AR-15/STANAG magazines via Mossberg’s patented Drop-Push bolt head, delivering reliable feeding and the flexibility to use common AR-pattern mags. This example includes a 10-round detachable magazine and offers a 10+1 capacity.
The 16-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2-style birdcage flash hider secured by a crush washer. The compact barrel length keeps handling nimble while preserving 5.56mm performance.
Picatinny Optic Rail & Iron Sights: A receiver-mounted one-piece Picatinny rail provides a solid base for optics, and the rifle retains quality irons with a Williams adjustable rear sight and a fiber-optic front blade for fast, precise sight alignment.
Mossberg’s LBA user-adjustable trigger (factory spec 3–8 lb) and a trigger safety support consistent, controlled shooting. The spiral-fluted bolt with a round, checkered knob offers positive purchase and smooth operation.
The black synthetic patrol-style stock features textured grip and forend panels, sling-swivel studs, and a hard rubber buttplate. The barrel is marked: "MOSSBERG – CALIBER 5.56mm NATO – MVP SERIES – NORTH HAVEN, CT, U.S.A." The rifle wears a matte finish and a 13.0-inch length of pull.
