This full-size Colt Government Model is built on the proven 1911 platform and chambered in .45 ACP with a 5-inch barrel. It uses a conventional barrel bushing with a standard recoil spring plug, delivering the classic 1911 setup many shooters prefer.
The slide and frame are stainless steel with a matte bead-blast finish for a subdued, practical look. Rear-only vertical slide serrations provide a traditional Series 80 aesthetic and familiar manipulation points.
Controls and safety systems are true to the design: single-action operation, a left-side manual thumb safety, a grip safety, and the Series 80 firing-pin block. The solid short trigger and spur hammer complete the classic control layout.
Sights are fixed and plain black, with a small ramped front and a low-profile square-notch rear for a clean sight picture. Black checkered polymer grips with Colt medallions offer secure purchase and a period-correct style.
