This limited edition features factory-applied, gold-filled decorative scrollwork with "DEFENDING LIBERTY," "FROM SEA TO SHINING SEA," and "1 of 500" inscriptions. Light-colored grip panels carry engraved Statue of Liberty artwork with scroll borders, giving the pistol a distinct presentation that is specific to this series.
The 1911R platform retains a Government-size 5-inch barrel, a squared SIG-profile slide with rear cocking serrations, and an external extractor. Fixed, dovetailed 3-dot sights cap the slide, which is finished in Nitron along with the frame.
Controls and handling elements include a beavertail grip safety, a manual thumb safety, and single-action-only operation. A skeletonized, three-hole trigger and a skeletonized Commander-style hammer complete the fire-control suite. Capacity is 8+1 with the included single-stack magazines.
